Introduction

Our ongoing SOC (Security Operations Centre) services provided invaluable protection and support to our large European banking client, with over 10,000 employees. Our extensive experience and expertise in SOC management ensured that our client continues to be protected and secure against ongoing cyber threats. Our SOC services continue to help our client maintain the integrity of their critical infrastructure.

The Challenge

Our banking customers urgently needed the experience of a global MSSP with the expertise required for the deployment of third-party cybersecurity solutions within their organisation, including Darktrace, Cynet, Ironscales, and Axonius.

The Solution

The scope and scale of the implementation were provided to the client, including 360-degree support to their existing internal Security Operation Center team to prevent, detect, and respond to various types of security incidents.


As part of our SOC service offering, the critical services included risk assessment and security testing, continuous security monitoring and incident response, continuous vulnerability assessment, providing security governance and security device management.

Methodology

Our expert engineering team allocated 1 senior cybersecurity engineer (7 years’ experience), 1 mid-level engineer (4 years’ experience) and 1 junior engineer (over 1 years’ experience).   


It was agreed with the client that we would execute this service using a Grey Box approach. The team used a number of industry-standard testing methodologies including OWASP, NIST, OSSTM and SANS.
